I love to read anything you write. Your ability to simply and beautifully paint a picture with words is what draws me. Whether you write here or in a book or write only for you, we love you and support you being all that is you - stronger and braver than you sometimes think you are, pure and honest view of life, and deep love for the people in your world.

Aw thank you, love. That is so kind of you to say. I struggle so much with trying to fit in all the writing I want to do. I appreciate you being here and taking the time to read my pieces. I hope to one day have a larger work to share with you.

I didn’t answer the first poll question because I already really enjoy the pacing you have in how you balance writing about the different aspects of your life and thought process. I’m a mama, so I love hearing your motherhood thoughts. I’m a writer, so I love seeing your perspective on your own process. I love hearing stories of your life, because it creates connective tissue for what you write about Now. (Also because you hold threads of childhood very similar to what I hold, and seem to have similar goals in parenting P & re-parenting yourself, and I appreciate the way you too take and turn over the components of the foundation laid for you.)

Wow, thank you so much! I'm so happy to hear that it all resonates with you in one way or another. I love how you've described the connective tissue is creates. That's a really beautiful concept that I haven't really thought about.

Honestly, I’m so curious to know what YOU enjoy writing about, specifically to your Substack community. Are there categories of pieces (or individual essays) that bring you a deep resonance of satisfaction once you’ve shared them?

When I first had Pressley I pretty much couldn't write about anything else but him and motherhood, and Substack gave me a place for that writing. Now, I think the thing I get the most out of writing and sharing are the memoir pieces—the pieces about my past and childhood and how I'm growing and learning how to navigate who I was then and who my parents were while at the same time exploring who I am now and who they are. It's all so interconnected and I've found so much healing in writing about my past and my family.

I look forward to your pieces. But I also understand that you might need to take time to focus on your book! I'd love to see more of the BTS of everything, and the first poll question was hard to answer because I want to read everything <3

Thank you, Tyler. Appreciate you sharing with me. When you say you're interested in seeing more of the BTS—can you give me an example? What is something you'd like to know more about? It seems like quite a few people are interested in the BTS, but now I'm like, wait, what does that mean exactly? I'm an open book so I'm happy to share, but I'm just trying to figure out what to share exactly haha.

Hmm, good question. I think we all might just be curious about those "in between" moments of your life. Day-to-day things. Some things that come to mind... What it looks like the moment you sit down to write, if you're struggling on what to say, reworking a paragraph, if its flowing, your process in those situations. What you're reading, what music you're listening to. Editing photos, and creating the cohesive look you have across your posts/stories/writings. How you make your non-toxic cleaner with orange peels (I think I read that?), what else do you put in it? It could even look like more AMAs maybe. Anything really, as long as it feels authentic to you, of course :)

Thank you for this! I'm actually working on incorporating a monthly wrap-up that shares what I've read and watched and worked on over the last month along with some other thoughts + musings. It will be an ever-changing thing that I offer to my paid subscribers. Maybe along with this I can also incorporate some day to day BTS here and there.

I love that idea :) Looking forward to it <3
