I want to be the mom I had and didn’t have.

I want to be the mom who plays. The one who has the same grass stains on her jeans as he does, the same tan lines from playing in the sun, the same ring of chocolate around her mouth. The one who jumps into the icy river no matter how much it takes her breath away or makes her bones ache.
