From the Dust: A Collection of Stories From the Desert

I’ve been writing + diving deeper into learning the craft more than I’ve been reading lately. I also read my own work a lot to prepare for the live reading in Knoxville hosted by Sundress Publications. I set up a mic in my partner’s music studio and read through the story to practice hearing my own voice through a mic. It’s weird and strangely uncomfortable to hear the sound of your own voice, isn’t it? Or am I the only one that feels this way?
