He said I was terrifying.

Terrifying, adjective.

ter·ri·fy·ing

Definition:

1: causing terror

2: of a formidable nature

I either 1) cause him extreme fear or 2) my formidable nature (meaning powerful, intense, capable) inspires respect or fear.

So, which is it?
